A thorough analysis of the results of the pilot survey allows to identify the true causes of disinterest in the work on the questionnaire or on a particular topic. This analysis is sometimes rather complicated because of the behaviors of the Respondent when answering a particular question can be many. In particular, it is possible to use a method of analysis of cross-border issues or issues in a single block. This allows you to define the logic behind the reasoning of the Respondent. Refusing to answer a particular question, the Respondent interrupts the logic of reasoning and thereby violates the whole system of reasoning (unless, of course, the question is not included the option of non-response of some respondents). It's not always reveals the true reasons why the Respondent refused to answer, but allows you to attract the attention of the researcher to the fact that this question or set of questions is not all right and that it should be rebuilt.
-- How are the respondents ' answers in the whole questionnaire. Usually the number of answers or refused to answer, varies depending on the section of the questionnaire. Under the plot in this case refers to the group issues a single block or just located in a single sequence. As already noted, by the end of the questionnaire the Respondent is beginning to tire, and, accordingly, reduced the total number of responses and increases the total number of refusals to answer.
As can be seen from Fig. 1, the number of refusals to answer, and gradually increases around the middle of the questionnaire reaches its peak. Apparently, the Respondent loses interest in the questionnaire, his attention decreases, and accordingly decreases its activity. But then his attention and activity more increased, the number of refusals to answer is reduced. By the end of the questionnaire when we get to the easy questions, his attention increases and the number of refusals to answer is reduced.
Here is one of the graphs refused to answer the questions
