Needless to say that, critically examining his writings, we do not can not touch that great question, which he mainly dedicated to all the works. Two doctrines we have left to consider in this article are in direct ratio with this question; and we have already mentioned above that we are going to consider them connection with the activities of Hugh Miller, as he is in all his reasoning thought these teachings are certainly true. It should not, however, to assume, so we wanted to prove that he, for his part, sought to refute. Making it my task to show that the geological arguments, driven against the hypothesis of a gradual development based on incorrect assumptions, we do not intend to show that the geological arguments the opposite side is built on assumptions is correct. We hope make obvious to the reader that the geological evidence available there is currently insufficient for final adoption which whatsoever of these two hypotheses, it is hardly possible to hope in the future to collect a sufficient number of certificates for final adoption or have a different opinion and that if this question ever be resolved, it should be resolved on the basis of other, not geological data. The first of the regular exercises of which we have just mentioned, is that in the history of the past life of our planet there are two big space; and from this circumstance conclude that, at least twice before the former inhabitants of the Earth was almost completely destroyed and in their place created a new category of beings.
