Probably makes sense to feel this natural line of development of sound, speech, words, text, and image, and so we make a little diversion and see how, from our point of view, was the historical development of a certain number of associated meanings and expressed in different forms. As always happens, language is not born from what it is currently, and quite another sphere, but which was used by the man, or rather something that was his forerunner that he was represented.
In fact, without defining what a language, one can hardly go further from the known. In turn, the concept of a language, its content is determined by the task that is put in a particular case by the researcher. That is why there are many definitions of language. And they all have a right to exist, each of them is definitely the specialist in a particular area of research and to solve their often highly specialized tasks. Nevertheless, there is a General, I would say, philosophical, the content that describes the most common features of such phenomena as language, in which develops its specific contents as concepts.
In our study, language is primarily a form of information transfer. Like any other form it has a feature which, in turn, is determined by their special characteristics and the relationship with the external environment when the solution of a separate task. This very General formulation of the problem in defining a language allows us to analyze this phenomenon primarily at the conceptual level, without respect to any specific field of application.
