This publication was prepared by the Institute of philosophy of the USSR it was attended by a large team of scientists. At that time it was a unique event, serious fundamental research that characterized the Soviet philosophy as objective and honest science. In the encyclopedia for many years identified the main philosophical developments, schools and areas that resisted the ideological philosophy of the time (by the way, is also successfully developed in the framework of the same Institute).
