Probably everyone faced with the fact that it is not always possible to cover the entire meaning of even relatively small text, often has to be limited to meaning of text fragments, embedded in sentences and simple paragraphs. This has many reasons, one of which is disability is not a trained memory to keep large chunks of text and link them together in meaning. This is called surface reading.
Incidentally this applies not only to texts. In practical life people are constantly faced with this phenomenon, i.e. the fact that it is, so to speak not to the naked eye and what is hidden under "a pile of phenomena". What is seen is usually standard knowledge for solution of typical problems. What is hidden, this area is not known, but informed as possible knowledge to solve the possible problems, of course, in different areas of life, including in the text. But the ratio of the standard and the unknown (but assumed), "surface" and depth are different in nature.
At all times, and most often among Church leaders, was necessarily the so-called interpreter of the texts, which seems to be the only "opened" the true meaning of certain texts and often sacred. And in fact opened, because with a lot of practice, it was possible to find in the text that helped solving the problem.
Content analysis is often perceived as a method of analysis of the text content. In fact examines only the frequency distribution of a characteristic that already has meaning that can give it some importance. Appears a different meaning, but not the symptom, and the frequency distribution of its meaning, he is a new object.
