About the scales, especially in the statistical literature, much has been written, and the procedure for their use are well designed. We will give only the most essential notions of scales and their use in the questionnaires. Scales are specific questions structured in a particular way.
The study of social processes with the need led to the development of quite sophisticated procedures quantitative expression of certain qualitative phenomena. It was a major step forward in the development of empirical procedures in sociological research. Usually, the scaling refers to a certain ordered number series. Offering the Respondent the scale, please choose the number (score), the number on the scale that would be consistent with his opinion regarding the intensity of the flow of a social process, or to determine its relation to something in the points system. For example, if a Respondent believes that relations in the team, where he works, very good, indicating maximum score if the relationship is very bad, then selects the minimum. Or the following examples:
