The conceptual content of the question implies a principle of selection response. We can distinguish three types of questions: questions where there is only one answer; questions, where respondents can choose a limited number (2-3) of the alternatives; questions with an unlimited selection of alternatives.
Example of the first type: "please Tell me You always obey the orders of the chief in time?" The leader can perform always on time, not always or never. Here is one possible answer, automatically excluding both the others. "Do You have a washing machine?", "Are You going to resign from the company?", "Good if You have a wife?" etc. - in all these questions only one answer. As a rule, such issues do not present much difficulty to answer, of course, if the question and its alternatives are built correctly.
What could be the error in constructing the question of this type?
1. Sociologist included in the question such a General concept that admits inaccuracy of its interpretation, a dualistic understanding, which leads to difficulties in the perception of the issue and inaccuracy of the response.
