  1. the background of semiotics in Russia 82
Today it is difficult to recover the plan of the book "Theory
the integral of the poetics of" the possible development of the text. In another work
Gumilev's theory divides poetry into four sections: phonetics, stylistics,
composition and apologia (p. 26). On the last section reads as follows:
"Apologia sums up the themes of poetry and possible relations to these
the themes of the poet" (p.27).
In the text entitled "a Sketch of the beginning of the report, 1914" (and this type
communication as performance and the report was quite significant at that time),
    N. Gumilev delineates approaches to the language of the symbolists and futurists.
The symbolists, in his opinion, based on the musical possibilities of the word, in fact
    as futurists -- the psychological.
About the symbolists, he says the following: "the Symbolists used all
musical possibilities of the word, revealed as one and the same word in different
the sound combinations are so different, but to prove that it is different and there is a genuine
the meaning of the word, and not one of its features failed. (...) In them
the poems lack a coherent mix of plans front and
rear; with overly-developed metaphors, HyperMemory, I would say,
people with exceptional ease is replaced by the star, the star of some
    the idea, etc." (P. 220).
Futurist describes in-depth attention to form -- the ugly
the possibilities of the form, writes N. Gumilev. "They keenly observed that
we quite like the fact that every combination of syllables mean anything, and
on this he built a number of interesting tricks on which to think
working in experimental psychology. Like a stick in the anthill, they
they pushed into our consciousness quite new, meaningless words, or
old word, randomly changing, or, finally, the old word in an entirely
illogical relationships with other people. And, like ants in an anthill dug our
thoughts strive to somehow be aware of this novelty, some
    content to fill this void"
